Our Mission & Vision
The mission of the Bandera County Fair Association is to create a welcoming, family-centered event that brings our community together in celebration of local talent, creativity, and tradition. Through the annual county fair, we strive to promote community pride, support small businesses, and provide an enjoyable experience for residents and visitors alike.
Welcome to the Bandera County Fair, coming to the heart of the "Cowboy Capital of the World" this October 8-10, 2026. The Bandera County Fair brings together our rich ranching heritage, western culture, and strong community spirit into one unforgettable weekend celebration.
From thrilling rodeo events to live country music, carnival rides to livestock shows, there's something for everyone. Experience authentic cowboy culture while creating memories that will start a new tradition for generations to come.

Unlimited rides for just $25 per day! Enjoy unlimited rides during carnival hours with a $25 wristband. Prefer just a few rides? Individual tickets will also be available so you can ride your favorites. Wristbands are available in advance and at the gate.
Come meet horses, sheep, and more! A fun, hands-on experience for all agesβperfect for kids and families to learn about ranch life.
Take a walk through the fairgrounds and explore a one-of-a-kind mix of vendors featuring handmade goods, local finds, and classic fair favorites.
Get ready for some good old-fashioned fun! Enjoy hay mazes, sack races, pumpkin decorating, apple bobbing, and more classic fair games the whole family will love.
Celebrate local talent with youth and adult competitions in baking, crafts, photography, and more. Come see the creativity, skill, and hometown pride on display!
Experience the thrill of the rodeo! From heart-pounding events to true Western grit, don't miss this high-energy showcase of skill, strength, and tradition.
Indulge in classic fair favorites! From funnel cakes and corn dogs to BBQ and Texas-sized turkey legs, there's something to satisfy every craving.

Small bags and purses allowed. All bags subject to search. No large backpacks or mugs permitted.
Outside coolers and beverages are NOT permitted. Exceptions made for medical needs and baby formula.
Only service animals are permitted on fairgrounds. No pets allowed.
Gate Admission: Cash only
Most Vendors: Accept cash, card, and payment apps
ATM available on-site.
ATMs located near main entrance and food court areas. Additional fees may apply.
Same-day re-entry permitted with valid wristband. Must exit through designated gates.
All guests subject to bag checks and walk-through screening. Prohibited items will be confiscated.
Weapons, alcohol, drugs, drones, glass containers, and professional cameras without press credentials.
Fair operates rain or shine. No refunds for weather. Severe weather may cause temporary ride closures.
